Unfortunately, Rick takes some backwards steps in the Season 6 finale. On the flip side, Rick and Morty season 6, episode 1, “Solaricks,” hit the ground running with a dramatic, surprisingly self-serious story that established Rick’s deadly vendetta against his nemesis Rick Prime. Nimbus, but also a tonally haphazard episode that constantly promised a more serious, substantial story than it delivered. ‘Rick and Morty’ season 6 episode 1, titled ‘Solaricks,’ opens in the aftermath of President Morty escaping beyond the Central Finite Curve. For instance, season 5, episode 1, “Mort Dinner Rick Andre,” was a clever outing that introduced Mr. ![]() Rick and Morty’s season premieres can be a bit unusual. While Rick and Morty season 7, episode 1 is a strong comeback for the series broadly speaking, the episode’s post-credits stinger is a particularly promising moment for the show’s new outing.
